I am postdoctoral researcher at the Oxford Robotics Institute (ORI) where I research explainable robotics. I recently completed my PhD research at Oxford’s Computer Science department in partnership with the Human Centred Computing group and the Cognitive Robotics group. During my PhD, I leveraged XAI and behavioural science theories to develop transparent techniques for generating intelligible explanations in autonomous driving. These explanation techniques have been deployed within large projects like the SAX and the RAILS projects. My research experience are so far applicable in other domains including, finance, healthcare, assistive technology. My PhD was funded by the EPSRC RoboTIPS project.
